Márton Erdős is a certified IT engineer with more than twenty-five years of experience in computer and technology journalism. He has been Editor-in-Chief of PC World since 2020, leading the transformation of the magazine into a digital subscription-based service.

He began his career in 1998 at CHIP magazine, where he worked for sixteen years as an editor and later as section editor. He joined the PC World team in 2014 as Deputy Editor-in-Chief and has served as Editor-in-Chief since 2020. In 2022, under his leadership, the print magazine was successfully transformed into a digital subscription service under the name PCW Max. His responsibilities include defining professional content, developing thematic concepts, coordinating external contributors and mentoring young IT journalists. He writes articles, news and product tests on a daily basis, and regularly represents the magazine at national and international press events and conferences. He is a regular contributor to the gaming magazines PC Guru and GameStar, and is also involved in the preparation of technical documentation, including projects commissioned by Microsoft. As an expert, he frequently appears on radio programmes and serves on several professional juries, including those of the Joint Venture Association. He has delivered numerous lectures at exhibitions and industry events, such as PlayIT and events organised by the National Media and Infocommunications Authority (NMHH). Over the years, he has built an extensive professional network within the Hungarian IT sector, and major international manufacturers regularly seek his expert opinion on product development and market entry strategies. On several occasions, he has been the sole representative of the entire Hungarian IT press at major international technology conferences.
