Collaboration of the Year

Róbert Izing

Editor-in-Chief

Roadster Media Group

Róbert Izing is the Editor-in-Chief of the Roadster media group, as well as a writer, journalist, literary translator and documentary filmmaker. He has been working in the media for over twenty-five years, exploring different forms of storytelling.

He has been Editor-in-Chief of the online and print editions of Roadster magazine since its founding in 2017, and later became Editor-in-Chief of the entire media group. His more than twenty-five-year career in journalism has been dedicated to quality storytelling, seeking the harmonious unity of image and text. He believes that storytelling goes beyond words and photographs and permeates almost every aspect of life. His documentary films about the Dalai Lama and the exiled Tibetan community have been screened at international film festivals. He has written a novel and, over the past decade, has been building the Roadster lifestyle brand. As Editor-in-Chief of the media group, he has long been observing the Hungarian creative scene from the front row, from fashion designers and visual artists to writers, gallery owners, publishers, graphic designers, photographers and product designers. Like John Cleese, he believes that creativity is not a matter of talent or a moment of inspiration, but a mode of operation and a conscious strategy that forms one of the key pillars of effective storytelling.
