Dr. Ádám Nagy is a lawyer and currently serves as Deputy State Secretary for Industrial Affairs at the Ministry for National Economy. His areas of expertise include industrial strategy, the automotive sector, as well as technical regulation and EU legal harmonisation.
Dr. Ádám Nagy is a lawyer and currently holds the position of Deputy State Secretary responsible for industrial affairs at the Ministry for National Economy. His main responsibilities include sectoral strategic planning – with a particular focus on the automotive industry – as well as the regulatory framework for technical and safety regulations, metrology, accreditation and standardisation, in addition to tasks related to EU legal harmonisation. He obtained his law degree from Eötvös Loránd University in 2005. He began his professional career as a trainee lawyer, and from 2013 onwards worked at various levels of public administration in the fields of economic and industrial policy. He has held senior management positions in several ministries, including the Ministry for National Economy, the Ministry for Innovation and Technology, the Ministry of Technology and Industry, and the Ministry of Economic Development, where he served as Deputy State Secretary responsible for industrial affairs.
