Zsófia Jakab has been serving as CEO of Creative Hungary since 2018, and from February 2024 she has also been appointed as Ministerial Commissioner responsible for the development of the creative industries and sectoral coordination.

Drawing on her professional experience and extensive international network, she works to integrate the Hungarian fashion and design industry into the global ecosystem and to position Budapest as one of the region’s leading industry hubs. As head of the coordinating organization of the Hungarian fashion and design sector, she is a committed supporter of emerging designers. She believes that the creativity and innovative solutions of Hungarian brands can make Hungarian designers—and the country itself—widely recognized worldwide. As of February 15, 2024, Zsófia Jakab was appointed Ministerial Commissioner responsible for the development of the creative industries and sectoral coordination, alongside her role as CEO of the Creative Hungary.
