The project of winna studio focuses on upcycling and reinterpreting existing textiles, where elements are deconstructed and reassembled into entirely new objects and garments. Nina Nemes explores the possibilities of material use at the intersection of fashion, design, and contemporary art.
The Vienna-based multidisciplinary brand winna creates sustainable fashion pieces and handcrafted design objects centered on reusing and rethinking existing materials, resulting in new, durable and unique items through a creative upcycling process.
The brand was founded by Budapest-born, Vienna-based designer, Nina Nemes, whose multidisciplinary practice is driven by the intersections of different fields in both her work and research. winna operates as an experimental platform where design, fashion and contemporary art intersect and are explored.
