SHOES IN CIRCLE Circular Footwear Project

The Anka Walicka brand’s Shoes in Circle circular footwear project combines parametric design, digital manufacturing, and adaptive knitting technology. The system significantly reduces waste generated during production and also encourages regional collaborations.
Anka Letycja Walicka is an artist, shoe designer, and researcher working at the intersection of technology and responsible manufacturing systems. Her work explores the relationship between body and material, and through the ANKA WALICKA_PROJECT design studio, she develops specialized fashion and footwear projects that combine AI, circular design, and material innovation with a unique aesthetic approach. Created as part of a European innovation program, Shoes in Circle reduces waste while promoting regional collaborations through customization, material use, and new production models.
