Central European Creative Awards Launched
Budapest, 27 January 2026 – Creative Hungary (formerly the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency) is launching a new creative industry award with the aim of bringing the most outstanding creative achievements from Hungary and the Central European region into international focus. The Central European Creative Awards build on the decades-long professional legacy of the Hungarian Design Award, which, following extensive professional consultation, returns in a renewed format: as a regional-scale award with a modern economic perspective and an expanded category system. The award aims to provide visibility to creators and brands in high value-added creative industries – including fashion, design, beauty, and gaming – and, in the long term, to strengthen the Hungarian creative sector’s position in the region. Entry is free of charge. Applications can be submitted via the awards’ official website until 26 February 2026.
